The book I'm working on, the 21st Daisy Dalrymple mystery, is set mostly in Worcestershire, in a country mansion near the River Severn, between Upton upon Severn and Worcester. Here are some pics I took while I was there last year.
You may, perhaps, find it hard to believe that this building, adorned as it is by a pair of buxom ladies, was once a boy's school...

Lovely photos, Carola. I'd like to visit there as well as read your book.
It's a very pretty area. Not spectacular like Cornwall but rural and peaceful. We went on a boat on the river--always fun--and saw a swan carrying babies on her back. No kingfisher, though, which the boatman promised we'd catch a glimpse of.
Beautiful photos, Carola. I've wanted to see Cornwall ever since I read Mary Stewart's Merlin/Arthur series, the one that began with THE CRYSTAL CAVE.
The third Cornish mystery comes out in Dec. so I"ll be posting lots of pics then!
